Aquarius Platinum Limited ASX, LSE & JSE 9 October 2013 Fatal incident at Kroondal It is with great regret and sadness that Aquarius advises that the body of afemale employee was found underground at Kroondal Platinum Mine's Kwezi Shaftin the early hours of this morning, 9 October 2013. The employee's name is being withheld out of respect for her family. The Boardand management of Aquarius extend to them their deepest condolences. Blasting activities at Kwezi shaft have been suspended to facilitate the SouthAfrican Police Services' (SAPS) forensic investigation, which has alreadybegun. While the circumstances of the incident cannot be disclosed, it wasapparent during the initial investigation that the woman may have beenassaulted. Aquarius deplores any incidence of violence.
