Samsung Electronics Co. Ld14 April 2006 Samsung Austin Semiconductor' Construction of Fabrication Line in the U.S. On April 14, 2006, the BOD of Samsung Electronics authorized Samsung Austin Semiconductor L.L.C (SAS) to set up a new 300mm fabrication line in the U.S. A total of USD 220 million will be invested in the project for the year 2006.
