Exercise of Options by a Director

The Conygar Investment Company PLC ("the Company") advises that on 17 August 2009 Robert Ware, Chief Executive, exercised options over 625,000 ordinary 5p shares in the Company (the "Shares") under the Company's Executive Director share option scheme at a price of 50 pence per Share.

Following this transaction, Mr. Ware's holding in the Company is now 3,725,000 Shares representing 8.81% of the total voting rights.

Application has been made to AIM for admission of 625,000 Shares. These Shares will rank pari passu in all respects with the existing shares in issue. Admission is expected to become effective on 21 August 2009.
