Exercise of Options and Total Voting Rights

Universe announces that application has been made for 4,500,000 new ordinary shares of 1p each ("Ordinary Shares") to be admitted to trading on AIM ("Admission"). These new Ordinary Shares are being issued pursuant to the exercise of options by an option holder of the Company and will rank pari passu with the Company's existing Ordinary Shares. Admission is expected to be effective on 6 February 2015.

The Company advises that, following the Issue, the Company's issued share capital is 224,781,758 Ordinary Shares. The above figure of 224,781,758 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
