It is with great sadness that Porvair plc ("Porvair") announces the death of Dr Krishnamurthy "Raj" Rajagopal, a non‐executive director, who passed away on 10 November 2016.

Raj served on the Porvair Board since April 2014, he chaired the Remuneration Committee and was a member of the Audit and Nomination Committees.

Charles Matthews, Chairman of Porvair plc said: "We will miss Raj. He made a significant contribution to the Porvair Board. His broad experience in both engineering companies and international manufacturing was tremendously helpful. He was calm, practical, constructive and a pleasure to be around. Our sympathies go to his family."
