On 13th February 2015, the BOD of Samsung Electronics approved donations to the following foundations and educational organizations.

1. KRW 40 billion to Samsung Foundation of Culture

2. KRW 26 billion to Samsung Welfare Foundation

3. KRW 66.1 billion to Samsung Life Public Welfare Foundation

4. KRW 5 billion to Ho-Am Foundation

5. KRW 37.7 billion to Sungkyunkwan University

As a responsible corporate citizen, Samsung Electronics seek to participate in addressing the problems faced by communities and enrich the lives of its members through corporate contributions and corporate social responsibility programs.

※Note: Pursuant to the Korean Fair Trade Act, a donator is required to disclose

contributions to charitable organizations if the amount of donation exceeds

KRW5 billion and the recipient party is affiliated companies of the donor.
