On July 31, 2014, the BOD of Samsung Electronics approved donations to the following foundations and educational organizations.

a) KRW 14.0 billion to Sungkyunkwan University

b) KRW 350.0 billion to Samsung Science & Technology Foundation

As a responsible corporate citizen, Samsung Electronics seek to participate in addressing the problems we are facing today through corporate contributions and corporate social responsibility programs.

※Note: Pursuant to the Fair Trade Act, a donator is required to disclose the transaction

if the amount of donation exceeds KRW5 billion and the receiving party is

a financial affiliate of the donator.
