Wynnstay Group plc (the "Company") announces that, on 19 October 2009, it received notification that, on 1 October 2009, Mrs. Meryl Davies, wife of John Davies, Chairman of the Company, acquired 1,306 ordinary shares of 25p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") as a result of a family transfer for nil consideration. Following this transaction, John Davies is directly or indirectly interested in 54,568 Ordinary Shares, representing 0.38% of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company.
