Hornby Plc (the "Company") today announces that on 11 July 2011 it was informed of the following transaction in respect of ordinary shares of 1 pence each in the capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares").

Nigel Carrington, a non-executive director of the Company, acquired 8,000 Ordinary Shares on 8 July 2011 at a price of 138 pence per Ordinary Share.

Following this transaction referred to above, Nigel Carrington holds 18,000 Ordinary Shares, representing 0.05 % of the issued share capital of the Company.
