Murgitroyd Group PLC31 August 2005 31 August 2005 Murgitroyd Group PLC (the "Group" or "Murgitroyd") Directors' Shareholdings The Board of Murgitroyd announces that it received notification yesterday thatDr Christopher Greig, a Non-Executive Director of the Group, acquired 5,000ordinary shares in the Group at a price of 196.75p per share on 30 August 2005,representing 0.06% of the current issued share capital of the Group. Thisrepresents Dr Greig's entire shareholding in the Group. The Board of Murgitroyd further announces that it received notificationyesterday that Mark Kemp-Gee, a Non-Executive Director of the Group, acquired1,736 ordinary shares in the Group at a price of 196.75p per share on 30 August2005. The interest of Mr Kemp-Gee in the share capital of the Company hasincreased from 8,264 shares (0.1%) to 10,000 shares (0.12%). The ordinary shares referred to above are the ordinary shares of 10p per share.
