Synairgen plc28 June 2007 Synairgen plc ("Synairgen" or the "Company") Directors' Shareholdings The Company was informed on 27 June 2007 that Simon Shaw, Non-executive Chairmanof Synairgen, acquired 40,000 ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 61 pence per share on 26 June 2007. As aconsequence of this transaction, his holding in the Company equates to 55,400Ordinary Shares, which represents approximately 0.3 per cent. of the issuedordinary share capital of the Company. Taking account of his 700,000 FounderOptions (exercisable at nominal value) his total interest representsapproximately 3.5 per cent. of the issued share capital. The Company was informed on 28 June 2007 that John Ward, Finance Director ofSynairgen, acquired 15,000 Ordinary Shares in the Company at a price of 60.75pence per share on 28 June 2007. As a consequence of this transaction, hisholding in the Company equates to 22,692 Ordinary Shares, which representsapproximately 0.1 per cent. of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company.
