("Games Workshop" or the "Company")

The Company was informed today that on 9 August 2012 Tom Kirby, Chairman of Games Workshop, acquired 8,000 ordinary shares of 5 pence each ("Ordinary Shares") in the Company at a purchase price of 616 pence per Ordinary Share. These Ordinary Shares were bought through Mr Kirby's SIPP.

The aggregate holding of Mr Kirby and his wife, has therefore increased to 2,131,394 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 6.75 per cent. of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company.
