Acquisition of Shares by a Director

The Conygar Investment Company PLC ("the Company") advises that it received notification on 8 December 2008 from Robert Ware, Chief Executive, that he had purchased 125,000 ordinary 5p shares in the Company at a price of 100p per share on 8 December 2008.

Following this transaction, his holding in the Company is now 3,100,000 ordinary 5p shares representing 7.44% of the total voting rights.
