Churchill China PLC06 September 2006 CHURCHILL CHINA PLC DIRECTORS SHAREHOLDING In accordance with sections 324 to 328 of the Companies Act 1985 (as amended) MrStephen Roper, the Company's non executive Chairman, has notified the Companythat he has sold, in aggregate 30,000 ordinary shares, representing 0.27percent of the issued share capital. Of these shares, 20,000 shares were sold on5 September 2006 at a price of 234p per share and 10,000 were sold today at aprice of 228p per share (ex dividend). Following these share sales Mr Roper remains interested in 1,133,045 ordinaryshares in the Company representing 10.43 percent of the issued share capital.
