The Board of Arena Leisure Plc ("Arena" or the "Company") has been notified that David Thorpe, Non-Executive Chairman of Arena, has a beneficial holding of 10,648 Ordinary Shares in the Company representing 0.003 per cent. of the Company's total voting rights. The Ordinary Shares were purchased prior to Mr Thorpe's appointment to the Board on 19 May 2010.
