The SIP trustee, Equiniti Share Plan Trustees Limited (the "Trustee"), notifiedthe Company on 13 February 2008 that the following Directors of the Companyacquired Shares under the SIP on 7 February 2008, in each case, held by theTrustee: Director Number of Aggregate number of Shares held beneficially Shares acquired* following acquisition (across all accounts) Daryl Rees 1,086 22,379 Piers Morgan 1,086 22,379 \* The number of Shares acquired includes 543 Partnership Shares purchased by eachof these Directors at 23 pence and 543 Matching Shares issued to each of theseDirectors under a Block Listing arrangement. Both partnership and matchingelements are registered in the name of the Trustee. The SIP operates as follows: Each month the Trustee uses participants' contributions (which may not exceed£125 per participant per month) to purchase shares in the market. These sharesare called "Partnership Shares". At the same time the Company allots to participants via the Trustee one"Matching Share" for every Partnership Share purchased that month. TheseMatching Shares vest with the employee three years from the date of issue.
