Polo Resources Limited (AIM and TSX: POL) was yesterday notified that on 17 January 2011, Bryan Smith, a Non-Executive Director of the Company, purchased on the same day 594,000 Ordinary Shares of the Company at a price of 5.26 pence per share.

Following the purchase, Mr. Smith is interested in a total of 10,381,240 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 0.44 per cent of the issued share capital of the Company.
