ECR Minerals plc announces that it has today been informed of the purchase today by Richard Watts, Technical Director of the Company, of 1,000,000 ordinary shares of the Company of 0.1 pence at a price of 0.238 pence per share.

Following this purchase Richard Watts is the beneficial holder of a total of 14,250,000 ordinary shares of the Company, equal to approximately 0.44% of the total issued ordinary share capital of the Company.
