The Company was informed on 29 May 2012 that Professor David Begg, a non-executive director of the Company, purchased yesterday 1,000 Ordinary shares of 3 and 1/33 pence each at a price of 303p per share, representing approximately 0.001% of the Company's total issued voting share capital.

Including this purchase, Professor Begg's total holding in the Company's issued share capital is 16,904 shares (representing approximately 0.017% of the Company's total issued voting share capital).
