The Company was informed today that on 15 October 2008, Reginald Pomphrett, company secretary and non-executive director of Mears, sold 150,000 ordinary shares of 1 penny each at an average price of 240 pence per share. Following this disposal, Mr Pomphrett has an interest in 25,000 ordinary shares of the Company.
