Ambrian Capital plc (AIM: AMBR), the specialist investment banking group, was today informed of the following transaction in ordinary shares of 10p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") by Nathan Steinberg, a director of Ambrian Capital. There is no change in Mr. Steinberg's beneficial interest in Ordinary Shares as a result of the transaction detailed below.

On 29 December 2008, Mr. Steinberg sold 400,000 Ordinary Shares at 14.5p per share and on the same day 400,000 Ordinary Shares were purchased at 14.5p per share by Mr. Steinberg 's Self Invested Personal Pension account.
