Brady plc ("the Company") was informed today that on 30 April 2008, Pat Brazel (Non-Executive Director) purchased 30,000 ordinary shares in the Company at a price of 40.541 pence per share.

Following this purchase, Mr Brazel holds 30,000 ordinary shares representing 0.11% of the Company's issued share capital.
