PetroNeft received notification today that Mr. Karl Johnson, Vice President of Business Development and Operations, bought 210,000 ordinary shares of nominal value €0.01 each ("Ordinary Shares") of the Company, at a price of Stg52.88p each on 8 June 2011. Following the purchase of these shares, Mr. Johnson's aggregate holding in the Company has increased to 355,349 Ordinary shares, representing approximately 0.08% of the issued share capital of the Company.
