Northern 2 VCT PLC29 January 2008 NORTHERN 2 VCT PLC (the "Company") 29 JANUARY 2008 DIRECTORS' SHAREHOLDINGS Further to the Issue of Ordinary Shares announcement released earlier today, ofthe 1,939,544 ordinary shares allotted under the 2007/08 Offer for Subscription,32,330 ordinary shares were allotted to Mr A M Conn, a director of the Companyat a price of 95p per share. As a result of this allotment, Mr Conn currentlyhas a beneficial interest in 190,399 ordinary shares of 5p each in the Companyrepresenting 0.39% per cent of the enlarged issued share capital. In addition, 29,725 ordinary shares were allotted to Mr E M P Denny, a directorof the Company at a price of 95p per share. As a result of this allotment, MrDenny currently has a beneficial interest in 100,000 ordinary shares of 5p eachin the Company representing 0.20% per cent of the enlarged issued share capital. In addition, 22,000 ordinary shares were allotted to Mr C G A Fletcher, adirector of the Company at a price of 95p per share. As a result of thisallotment, Mr Fletcher currently has a beneficial interest in 62,504 ordinaryshares of 5p each in the Company representing 0.13% per cent of the enlargedissued share capital. In addition, 2,763 ordinary shares were allotted to Mr D P A Gravells, adirector of the Company at a price of 95p per share.
