Performance Share Plan Awards and Director Shareholdings
Filtronic plc, the designer and manufacturer of microwave electronics products for the wireless telecoms infrastructure market, announces that, following the achievement of performance targets for the year to 31 May 2012, a total of 220,417 ordinary shares of 10p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") have vested in certain executive directors and senior employees under its 2009 Performance Share Plan. This number of shares which have vested is stated after deduction of tax and national insurance.
Accordingly the Company has on 30 August 2012 purchased 220,417 shares in the market at 32.5p and has transferred these shares at 29p, being the market price of the Ordinary Shares at the vesting date, to the employees including the following:
