The Company was notified on 27 April 2009 of the following acquisition of Premier Foods plc ordinary Shares of 1p each ("Shares") by a PDMR of the Company:

Ian York, Group Sales Director

Acquired 20,000 Shares at £0.3375 per Share on 27 April 2009. Following the acquisition, his total holding is 91,441 Shares representing less than 0.01% of the Company's issued capital.
