London, UK, 28 June 2013: Sierra Rutile Limited (AIM: SRX) ("Sierra Rutile") received notice today that, Jan Castro, the Non-Executive Chairman of Sierra Rutile, acquired 65,000 ordinary shares in Sierra Rutile on 27 June 2013 at a price of 50 pence per ordinary share. Following this transaction, Mr Castro holds 1,529,750 ordinary shares representing 0.29% of Sierra Rutile's issued share capital.

Sierra Rutile produces titanium feedstock industrial minerals (primarily rutile, with some associated ilmenite), as well as smaller quantities of zircon.
