("Stobart" or the "Company")

The Company was notified today by Andrew Tinkler, a Director of the Company, that on 29 August 2014 he entered into a new personal loan facility, in connection with which he provided security to the finance provider over 7,500,000 of his ordinary shares in the Company. His total beneficial holding of 31,301,750 ordinary shares in the Company, representing 9.55 per cent. of its issued capital, remains unchanged, and security has been provided over a total of 14,800,000 ordinary shares in the Company.
