Rurelec PLC (AIM: RUR), the owner, operator and developer of power generation capacity internationally, were notified on 16 June 2014 that Mr Brian Rowbotham, Senior Independent Non-Executive Director, acquired 80,000 ordinary shares of two pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 6 pence per Ordinary Share on 16 June 2014.

Mr Rowbotham is now interested in 350,000 shares in the Company representing approximately 0.062% of the issued share capital of the Company.

The total number of Rurelec securities in issue is 561,387,586 Ordinary Shares for the purpose of voting rights.
