On 13 January 2014 3i Group plc (the "Company") was notified that on 9 January 2014 Sir Adrian Montague, the Chairman of the Board (and a Director and person discharging managerial responsibilities), acquired 1,256 ordinary shares of 73 19/22p each in the Company ("Shares") at a price of 380.0769p per Share. These Shares were acquired under a dividend reinvestment plan following payment of the Company's interim dividend.

The place of this transaction was the London Stock Exchange.
