On 30 July 2013 3i Group plc (the "Company") was notified that on 29 July 2013 Sir Adrian Montague, the Chairman of the Board (and a Director and person discharging managerial responsibilities), acquired 987 ordinary shares of 73 19/22p each in the Company ("Shares") at a price of 384.3622p per Share. These Shares were acquired under a dividend reinvestment plan following payment of the Company's final dividend.

The place of this transaction was the London Stock Exchange.
