NOTIFICATION OF A TRANSACTION BY A DIRECTOR

On 24 April 2012 David Wooldridge's spouse sold 3,500 A & J Mucklow Group plc ordinary shares at 324.25p per share. 3,600 shares were subsequently purchased to her Individual Savings Account (ISA) at 324.25p per share.

The shares are registered in the name of HALB Nominees Limited and following these transactions there is a slight increase in Mr Wooldridge's declarable beneficial holding to 50,852 shares (0.08% of the issued ordinary share capital).
