Begbies Traynor Group PLC08 April 2008 BEGBIES TRAYNOR GROUP PLC DIRECTOR'S SHAREHOLDING The Company was informed on Friday, 4 April 2008, that Mr Ric Traynor, ExecutiveChairman, has transferred, by way of a gift, 5,000,000 ordinary shares into atrust of which the beneficiaries are his immediate family. Following this transaction Mr Traynor is deemed to have a beneficial interest ina total of 26,311,697 shares, of which 18,061,697 are held by Mr Traynordirectly, 5,000,000 are held in a trust for the benefit of his immediate familyand the remaining 3,250,000 are held by Mrs Z Traynor.
