Global Energy Development PLC, the South America focused petroleum production and development company (AIM: GED) with operations in Colombia and Peru, was notified on 2 May 2012 that on 1 May 2012, Mikel Faulkner, a director of the Company, purchased 10,000 ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company at 102p per share.

Following this purchase, Mr. Faulkner has a beneficial interest in 245,250 ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company representing 0.69% of the issued share capital of the Company.
