10 June 2009 Personal Group Holdings plc (the Company) DIRECTOR SHAREHOLDING

The Company has been informed by Mr Christopher Johnston, that on 9 June 2009 he purchased 169,479 Ordinary Shares of 5p each from his SIPP representing 0.56% of the issued share capital of the Company, at a price of 252.5 pence per ordinary share.

Following this transaction, Mr Johnston remains interested in 15,591,393 shares, representing 51.86% of the total shares in issue.
