Notification of Transactions of Director/Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibilities
City of London would like to advise that the following Directors of the Company have today received an allocation of share options as set out in the table below:

These options are over City of London Investment Group PLC ordinary 1p shares held in the Employee Benefit Trust (EBT) and are exercisable from 19 June 2018 to 18 June 2025.
These awards are part of a Group wide grant of approximately 400,000 options, which represents 85% of the unallocated shares in the EBT.
These transactions took place in London.
