Further to the announcement on 14 November 2012 that Stuart Mitchell would join SIG plc as CEO Designate on 1 December 2012 and take over as Group CEO in March 2013.

SIG plc announces today that Stuart Mitchell has been appointed an Executive Director of the Company with effect from 10 December 2012.

No further information is required to be disclosed in respect of Stuart Mitchell pursuant to Listing Rule 9.6.13R (1) to (6).
