RESIGNATION OF A NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Newcastle Building Society (NBS) announces the resignation of Ann Cairns as a Non-Executive member of its Board with effect from today, 30th June 2011.
Ann will take up the full-time position as President of Mastercard International, which means time pressures will not allow her to maintain her post with the Society.
NBS has a succession plan in place and will announce a replacement as soon as practicable.
