Director's Contract 

AEP, which owns approximately 132,000 hectares of plantation land, primarily in Indonesia, announced on 21 August 2009 that Donald Low, who was appointed in August 2008, will remain with the Company as Acting Chief Executive until 25 November 2009.

The Board has today announced that Mr. Low will remain as Acting Chief Executive for at least another six months, until 25 May 2010.

In the meantime the Board will continue its process to identify the successor to Mr. Low.
