5 December 2007 Amteus plc ("Amteus" or the "Company") Directorate Change

The Company is pleased to announce that David Lynde, aged 45, has been appointed finance director with immediate effect.

Mr Lynde has many years experience in the financial services and motor retail industry. He was the European Finance Director for Newcourt Credit Limited and Finance Director for Bryan Brothers Holdings Limited. Latterly he has been involved in turnaround situations in the motor retail, gaming and training industries.

Mr Lynde, who is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland, is currently a director of Hamcam Limited, an accountancy and consultancy business, Finance and Leasing Portfolio Services Limited, a finance and leasing portfolio management company, and Laburnum Farm Management Company Limited, a residents' management company.

During the last five years, Mr Lynde has been a director of Bryan Brothers Holdings Limited and certain of its subsidiary companies, Capex Limited, Capex leasing Limited, Capex Sales Limited, Capex brokers Limited, Dixon Motor Group and certain of its subsidiary companies and Medifinance Limited.

Mr Lynde has confirmed there is no further information required to be disclosed under paragraph 17 of the AIM Rules.
