Directorate Change

Christopher Goss, Non-Executive Chairman, has decided to step down from the Board of Tethyan Resources plc (the "Company") with immediate effect. With the secondary listing of the Company on the TSX Venture Exchange advancing Chris decided it an appropriate time to step down.

Peter Mullens, CEO, commented: "the Board would like to thank Chris for his efforts over the last 7 years, during which time he has steered the Company though a difficult bear market for resource companies to a position where the Company is poised to move forward as the market picks up. The Company is well placed now and moving towards a secondary listing on the TSX Venture Exchange. We wish him all the best for his future endeavours."

A successor will be appointed in due course and a further announcement will be made.
