Manchester Building Society12 October 2006 PRESS RELEASE Directorate Changes at Manchester Building Society Paul Davies, the Deputy Chief Executive of Manchester Building Society, hasresigned as a director of the Society and has joined the Board of ImpactHoldings (UK) plc. Ian Richardson, has been appointed a director of the Society with effect from 1October 2006. Ian will assume responsibilities for the Society's lendingoperations in addition to his existing role as Society Secretary. Ian haspassed over his other major responsibilities as Managing Director of theSociety's mortgage network subsidiary, Mortgage Broking Services Limited ("MBSL") to Tony Corrigan, who joins from a similar role with MBSL's networkcompetitor, Classic Mortgage Solutions.
