ANNOUNCEMENT
Guinness Peat Group plc ("GPG") announces that with effect from 30 June 2011 Blake Nixon will be resigning from his role as an Executive Director of GPG. Subject to Mr Nixon being re-elected at GPG's forthcoming Annual General Meeting, Mr Nixon will become a Non-Executive Director as from 1 July 2011. Mr Nixon will also continue as a Director of Coats.
Mr Rob Campbell, Chairman of GPG said "I wish to thank Mr Nixon for his contribution to GPG during his 21 years as an Executive Director".
