LightwaveRF plc ("LightwaveRF", "LWRF" or the "Company"), the creator of the LightwaveRF Smart Home Platform and products for the Internet of Things enabling households and businesses to remotely operate and control lighting, power, heating and security using smartphones, tablets, PC and MAC applications, today announces the appointment of Kevin Edwards as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with immediate effect.
Kevin joined LWRF in 2015, as Finance Director of LightwaveRF Technology Limited, the principal operating subsidiary company. He was also instrumental in the funding round completed last August. Tom Sykes, the current CFO, will remain on the board in the new role of Commercial Director.
Commenting Barry Gamble, Chairman, said: "Kevin has already played a key part in the development of the business. His appointment as CFO coupled with the new role of Commercial Director for Tom Sykes, further strengthens the executive management of the business."
