Director Change

GCM Resources plc (GCM) advises that Mr Gary Lye has stepped down as a director of GCM to become Chairman of Asia Energy Corporation (Bangladesh) Pty Ltd, the Company's principal subsidiary through which it owns the Phulbari Coal Project. 

Steve Bywater, Chief Executive of GCM said "Gary was key to the preparation of the Scheme of Development for the Phulbari Coal Project which was submitted to the Government of Bangladesh in late 2005 and for the last four years he has also served on the Board of GCM. On stepping down from the GCM Board, Gary will now focus exclusively on the Project as we build up our efforts with the newly elected Government of Bangladesh to move the Project forward."
