Sanctuary Group PLC17 November 2005 17th November 2005 The Sanctuary Group plc (the "Group") DIRECTORATE CHANGE In relation to the Group's implementation of its new business plan and overallreview, it is intended to revise the Board's structure and to make a number ofnew appointments. The process of identifying new directors (non-executive andexecutive) and the process of restructuring current executive responsibilitiesis progressing well. As part of these revised arrangements it is envisaged that Andy Taylor willretain the senior executive position but will step down as Executive Chairman,and a new non-executive Chairman will be appointed. This change is intended toenable Andy to concentrate his full energies on overseeing the implementation ofthe Group's new business plan. The Board has appointed an executive searchagency to recruit a non-executive Chairman. The Board will announce furthermanagement changes as appropriate. The Board announces today that non-executive Douglas McArthur has stepped downfrom the Board with effect from 16 November 2005. The Board would like to thankDouglas for his contribution to the Group since he joined in 2000 and understandthat the extra time commitment presently required by Sanctuary is not compatiblewith his role as full time chief executive of the Radio Advertising Bureau.
