LISTING AGREEMENT : APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTORS

In terms of Clause 30(a) of the Listing Agreement, we have to advise that the Central Government, in consultation with the Reserve Bank of India and in pursuance of clause (d) of Section 19 of the State Bank of India Act, 1955 (23 of 1955), has nominated Dr. Rajiv Kumar as part-time non-official director on the Central Board of Directors of State Bank of India for a period of three years with effect from 8th September 2008 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
