Directorate Change As notified in the Announcement of Preliminary Results, Oxford Instruments plcconfirms the following changes to the composition of its Board with effect fromthe conclusion of its 2013 Annual General Meeting held yesterday, 10 September2013:- * Having served nine years on the Board, Professor Mike Hughes stepped down from the Board, as Senior Independent Director and as a member of the Audit, Remuneration and Nomination Committees * Charles Holroyd stepped down from the Board As reported in the Company's Reports and Financial Statements, the followingchanges have also taken place with effect from the same date:- * Jock Lennox has replaced Mike Hughes as Senior Independent Director * Thomas Geitner has replaced Nigel Keen as Chairman of the Remuneration Committee There are no further details to be disclosed under paragraph 9.6.11 of theListing Rules.
