Rentokil Initial PLC17 May 2006 17 May 2006 RENTOKIL INITIAL plc - BOARD CHANGES Rentokil Initial plc announces that as at the conclusion of its annual generalmeeting tomorrow, the following changes will take effect: 1. Mr Ron Spinney and Mr Paul Mason will resign as non-executivedirectors. 2. Mr Alan Giles, the chief executive of HMV Group plc, will join theboard as a non-executive director and a member of the audit and remunerationcommittees. 3. Mr Peter Long, who joined the board in 2002, will succeed Mr Spinneyas the senior independent non-executive director and as chairman of theremuneration committee. At the same time, Mr Long will relinquish hismembership of the audit committee. 4. Mr Duncan Tatton-Brown, who joined the company as a non-executivedirector in 2005, will become a member of the remuneration committee as well asa member of the audit committee.
