Bank Muscat Appoints New Chairman
As per Royal Decree 31/2011, restructuring the Council of Ministers, Sheikh AbdulMalik bin Abdullah bin Ali Al Khalili has been appointed as Minister of Tourism and has relinquished his position as the Bank's Chairman. The Board of Directors in its meeting held on April 27th 2011, formally appointed Sheikh Khalid bin Mustahail Al Mashani as Chairman of the Bank. This appointment is subject to regulatory approvals.
